Tough Enough to Wear Pink

A friend tagged me on your Facebook post. I’m a breast cancer survivor!  I was diagnosed in October of 2014 at the age of 48. I had a double mastectomy that December and spent most of 2015 having chemo and radiation. Even though I am stage 2B, it was considered an early catch. One thing that’s different about me is that I did an experimental treatment using cold caps on my head. They were -27 degrees and hurt like you can’t imagine. But I didn’t lose my hair!!! Which was huge for my mental fight with this Rotten disease! I don’t like to toot my own horn much but let me tell ya’…. I’m tough enough to wear pink and any other color too!
